Yashashwini Launches First Training Session to Empower Women Entrepreneurs in Gwalior

A new journey has begun for women in Gwalior who dream of starting their own businesses. Yashashwini, a Women Entrepreneurship Development Cell started by GIncube at the Gwalior Smart City Incubation Centre, has launched its first training session — and it's already making an impact.

1. A Powerful Beginning

The inaugural session held recently at the incubation center attracted over 30 enthusiastic women participants, all eager to learn the secrets of building a successful business. The energy in the room was contagious, filled with curiosity, determination, and an inspiring sense of purpose.

2. Guidance from Startup & Business Expert Ms.Prateeksha Dubey

The session was led by Prateeksha Dubey, a startup expert from Delhi. She spoke about how women can turn their passions into successful businesses. She encouraged participants to believe in themselves, understand their goals, and take small steps towards achieving them. Her talk was full of useful tips, real-life examples, and inspiration.

3. Building a Supportive Community

Yashashwini is about more than just training; it’s about community, mentorship, and long-term growth. The session fostered a meaningful dialogue where women openly shared their ideas, dreams, and challenges. Prateeksha took the time to address their questions, making the experience interactive and highly personalized.

4. A 12-Week Journey of Empowerment

This first session marked the beginning of a 12-week training series designed to equip women with essential business knowledge and entrepreneurial confidence. Each week will focus on a different theme — including ideation, financial literacy, branding, digital marketing, legal basics, funding opportunities, and more. Through hands-on learning and expert-led discussions, participants will continue building their skills step by step.

5. Ongoing Learning & Collaboration

The program is committed to sustaining this momentum with weekly sessions that cover a range of practical and strategic topics. Local institutions, such as Government Kamla Raja Girls Post Graduate (Autonomous) College, Gwalior, have partnered with Yashashwini, with professors and students actively participating in the initiative to bridge education and entrepreneurship.

Yashashwini is more than just a training program — it’s helping women believe in themselves and their ideas. With each session, they are learning new things and gaining the confidence to start their own businesses. As the 12-week journey continues, it's clear that many exciting success stories are just getting started. This is the beginning of something truly inspiring for the women of Gwalior.
