In 2018, Mangesh Kale, Saya Date, and Ranjit Date established Linecraft. The start-up gathers and analyses copious volumes of data from industrial machinery, then makes recommendations for how to increase their productivity using artificial intelligence and subject-matter knowledge.

According to Pratik Kumar, CEO of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, "This purchase will further enable us develop our digital capabilities and deliver turnkey automation solutions with a bolt-on digital layer that provides deep insights and analytics to customers" (WIN).

Linecraft. Artificial intelligence (AI) has the knowledge of the automation industry, the power of Machine Learning (ML), from which firms can gain more production and have better real time operations.

Wipro is a participant in the Indian startup ecosystem actively. It has placed significant bets on technology and previously raised a number of startup funds.

A team of engineers and AI and ML professionals created the Linecraft.ai programme using a patented method. According to Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, this acquisition marks an important milestone in the group's strategic development in the field of digitisation, after the acquisition of renowned industrial automation player PARI.
