Still, if we look closely, the number of women in tech startups remains comparatively low. It’s not because of lack of capability, but because of limited access — to mentorship, funding, and the right ecosystem that encourages risk-taking and innovation.

Beyond just office space, incubators offer guidance, mentoring sessions, financial literacy programs, and networking support — everything a budding entrepreneur needs to bring her idea to life.

At RISE Jhansi Incubation Center, we’ve seen firsthand how such initiatives can create change. Through Manikarnika – Women Entrepreneurship Development Cell, and the SHE RISE -12 week Cohort Program, several women from smaller cities are gaining exposure to entrepreneurship and technology.

These programs help participants understand not just business planning but also topics like digital literacy, marketing, financial planning, and AI-based tools, enabling them to compete in today’s tech-driven world.

Breaking Barriers, Building Confidence

The journey of a woman entrepreneur is often filled with challenges — from balancing family responsibilities to facing societal biases and a lack of role models in the tech field. But what’s inspiring is how women are turning these challenges into motivation.
