Central India’s Biggest Hackathon 2022 – Smart Satna Hackathon 1.0 has come to an end.
Satna Incubation Center hosted a 36-hours of Hackathon for startups and students on July 30 and 31, 2022. Madhya Pradesh's Satna Smart City Development Limited, Satna Incubation center, and Incubation Masters collaborated to host the event. More than 150 students attended the event. Everyone experienced a surreal moment, and Satna Incubation Center was ecstatic to receive encouragement and support. At the end of the day, the encouraging remarks from mentors, judges, and participants felt so good and gave a feeling of success to the hosts.
Satna Incubation Center, which has been working to develop the startup environment in Satna city and the surrounding of Baghelkhand region for many years, conducted the first of its two-day Smart Satna Hackathon 1.0 on 30 and 31 July 2022.
Satna Incubation Center invited reputed judges including Mr. Ishvinder from Cisco as India lead, Mr. Sourabh Khandelwal -Assistant Director of operations- Nexus, Mr. Sivesh Kumar- Founder and CEO of Startup Monk, Ms. Preeti Chaudhary - Director of PC Advisory and Founder of LinkedInLocalIndia , Dr. Kamlesh Choure- Director, Center for Research Innovation, Incubation and Skill Development AKS University Satna, Mr. Sankalp Shukla Assistant Professor at A.P.S.U. Rewa M.P. , Ms. Swati Chaturvedi Assistant Manager- E.Y. Pune, Ms. Anamika Singh Branch head and Management committee Member,Director in Bachpan Play School. Mr. Amardeep Duggal - Company Secretary in Satna Smart City Development Ltd.. These respected judges reward students for their creative efforts .
To encourage startups, various Guests from M.P. Govt also come to visit the Hackathon, including the chief guest, Hon'ble Minister of State Shri Ramkhelawan Patel, Mayor Satna Hon'ble Shri Yogesh Kumar Tamrakar, Hon'ble Shri Vijay Tiwari, District Vice President BJP, Respected Shri Anurag Verma Collector Satna, Corporation Commissioner Shri. Rajesh Sahi ji, Mr. Parichit Jhade- CEO, Zilla Panchayat.
The environment in the hackathon was so much fun and exciting. Everyone got to meet with like-minded people, challenge themselves to their limit, bring crazy ideas and build innovative solutions. It was a kind of event where people feel the same excitement and pleasant experiences.
On the last day of Satna Smart Hackathon 1.0, the jury members screened 15 startups out of all the 52 startups in the hackathon and were invited to present their startup ideas to everyone. Sagar Nigam, the founder of the startup "Cronus Innovation," won the first prize of 51 thousand INR for his idea of a hybrid kit (petrol + electric) for two-wheelers. Krishna Dev Singh, the founder of "Earth Analytic Lab," won the second prize of 21 thousand INR for his idea of soil quality for farmers. And the third award "Raktdansh" founder Ankit Dwivedi whose idea was to promote Hindu culture through a mobile game was awarded with Rs. 11,000.
Certificates were also given to all the participants and volunteers who attended the Smart Satna Hackathon.
In these two-day event, all the participants trended the Satna Smart Hackathon through their creative posts on all social media handles, Startup “BuCAudio” won the “Social Media Enthusiast Award” worth Rs. 5,000.
With the help of this platform students could work collaboratively in a group to realize their crazy and innovative ideas with the help of professionals. Besides, hackthons are also the best place to make new friends, network with professionals and have a lot of fun all along.
