About Founder :

Aditi Gupta, the co-founder of Menstrupedia, was born and raised in Garhwa, a small town in Jharkhand, India. Aditi's inspiration for starting Menstrupedia came from her own experience of menstruation. When she first got her period at the age of 12, she was shocked to learn how little information was available to her. She was also surprised to see the stigma and shame surrounding menstruation in Indian society.

 Aditi went on to study design at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, where she met her future husband and co-founder of Menstrupedia, Tuhin Paul.
